i trained myself out of the habit during school. 20 years later, i've got a coworker who will quietly stand up in the middle of meetings and do a few jumps every now and then. i don't do that so much, but i am quite intentionally training myself back into leg bouncing whenever my mind starts to drift during the day. here's hoping i can learn to do it automatically again someday 🥲

I mean you personally or close family/friends being in illegal imminent danger of bodily harm, not just generally something you saw on social media that made you mad.
if social media oversamples for the number of people in imminent danger, what's your method to avoid undersampling? because outside of those who would trust you with their life and call on you to protect them, the people around you who fall into this category aren't going to just casually mention "i'm in danger from the state" for what I really hope should be obvious reasons.
