The engineering that goes into these things is insane, I doubt they would stop functioning, even after such a long time. Also, every country with nuclear capabilities makes damn sure they have working ones on standby all the time. As much as I wish you were right, I'm afraid the people in charge are way too obsessed with that kind of power.

    I am with you, but what makes amazon more convenient is their broad spectrum of stuff. I can buy all sorts of very specific electronics and household stuff and pay for shipping once. But going to otto, pollin, reichelt, zalando and more adds shipping, spams my inbox and increases the risk of my personal infomation being leaked in case of a data breach. I hate amazon, but I also don't like that other online shops seem so seperated. Shouldn't there be an incentive for smaller online shops to band together and create an alternative to giants like amazon?
