Or that Garfield comic where on one side you got the grey Garfield toxically arguing a lot with people on Shitter, versus Garfield simply blocking.
fascist*
conservative are christian democrats (in the US a close equivalent would be Rockefeller Reps, à la Charlie Baker. Those are the real Reps.
a conservative is interested in keeping things as is, stable, favouring democracy (even if imperfect). They prefer to avoid a perceived 'haste' in change, but do not outright oppose it.
a fascist opposes both; they above all break down labour rights and align with the reactionary, irresponsible bourgeoise, rather than the proletariat whose labour they employ. Fascism favours the radical change into militarism to enforce its will, rather than building bridges through dialogue.
Unhinged enough at least, to be somehow a centrist radicalist - taking all radical views at once, so you're perfectly in the 'middle' of radicality.
Not just that, but he also blacklisted a lot of instances that were not batshit insane^1^ enough. Lots of users were even included. He went so far to put up individual regex blocks against thousands of users, me included 😂
It's practically a badge of honour if you're on that list. It tells you that you're too chill for hatred.
^1^ The opposite of sane, such as 'buying' a Steam game while it's not on sale, giving the already rich more money, or opposing LGBTQ+ rights while being found at a gay orgy (only illegal because of the noise) and escaping by pipe. See also: József Szájer. Poor guy, I hope he'll have it better on the left.)
Russia is in Europe.
With regard to transnational countries, it's a blend of geography, geopolitical and cultural ties.
Russia's capital is in Europe, it has a Indo-European language for its government, like most other sovereign European countries (some of them have Ugric or even Vasconian, though), and has historically been culturally pretty western. The East is Asian, but because of the former factors, I view Russia as a European country.
The Caucasus countries have been historically part of the former Soviet Union, and are also majorly focused on Europe. Only one speaks an IE language, though (Armenia).
Turkey has its capital not anymore in Europe, doesn't speak an IE or Ugric language, isn't focused much on the west except for strategical reasons, but it does have a part in Europe, and so it's a bit iffy.
Greenland is geographically in another continent, but for all intents and purposes, much like Cyprus, it's very much European - due to its ties being very close to it. Both have a European focus, with an IE language being official, and geographically also are at least in proximity (unlike Australia or New Zealand).
Religion only plays a role insofar there is a historical past shared sense of Christianity - but in my view, more modernly, is that of a secular, maybe laïcised Europe. Bosnians and Albanians are Muslim, but you'd be hard-pressed to view them as anything but just like the Catholics and Orthodoxes around them. Europe is more than which choir you listen to; Europe is a combination of elements.
Tageszeitung is more reliable. Or Jacobin.
I disagree with the first part still. I have personally been attacked by fascists and when I called cops they came in way too late and didn't try to find them.
It is not the fellow comrades that also suffer bad socioeconomic circumstances, who are the problem; the problem is the billionnaires fueling fascist movements and their allies, cops.
We need to make a clinical diagnosis for all who hoard wealth; monetarily obsessive hoarding. And those that have that diagnosis, must be treated by proper taxation, without possibility of human or capital flight.
And of course the cops accuse anyone but their own fascist ranks. When will the source of problems, the high socioeconomic inequality, be addressed?
Who knew investing in a capitalist fascist would impoverish you?
Tall here but thankfully everyone else is tall so if cancels out.
20°C and it's better. 30°C is suffering.
/thread. Don't finance fascists. Billionnaires steal your wages and wellbeing.
