That's overwhelmingly the critique people have of PETA. They humanely euthanize instead of just letting animals starve on the streets. Not one viable alternative has been proposed here beyond "let other shelters try to adopt them" like there are shelters turning animals away for the sake of turning them away and not because they literally don't have the capacity to do anything.
That's why the overwhelming majority of these complaints are just vague innuendo about PETA doing "cruelty," whatever that means exactly.

Can you speak more to this? I know you're right but interested if you know of any sources that cover Walmart doing this recently since a friend and I were just talking about their unethical business practices.
