yeah look potentially worth it. You've just gotta be certain your there for the time for the investment to pay itself off. this is my first home in a suburb I dont love, but practically cant afford anything more than this so guess i need to figure out what the future holds.

    in vic power prices are pretty sane still. Between solar and the government rebate at the moment I'm hardly paying for anything in summer. Winter is a different story of course, but battery prices at the minute are too high to really justify a reduction for just 6 months of the year.

    He aint the president here. And we still hold pine gap that they very much need. Then again are either party gonna play hardball? Albo wont and dutton is too busy sucking trump off to complain.

    The longer it takes to take serious action the more its gonna screw people when prices drop. i'm not talking about boomers who own 10 properties. but if you're a dual income no kids and have an 800k mortgage on a property thats suddenly worth 200k less than your mortgage your in for a really bad time.

    But this wont actually do that. it might address a portion of the market demand, but hardly all of it. Capital heavy parties arnt disincentivized from hoarding properties. New properties are still fair game for foreign investors. Hows this actually driving down demand? its a drop in the ocean.

    I do yeah. I dont much care that the officer was gay, he still killed a gay man. regardless of interpersonal relationships or anything like that. If you were a member of the governing body of the Mardi Gras that would give you pause I imagine.
