Good question. ASI just means artificial superintelligence, like an AI that goes beyond human level thinking, becomes sentient and... watch out. The story is about what happens when something like that shows up in real world systems. Not too far off the mark of what is/could be happening soon in our lifetime.
I actually wrote the whole thing myself. The idea came to me a few years ago while I was living in Thailand and I've been putting it together since then. The AI side of the project is for visuals/marketing and helping build out the world around it. I get why you are asking though, there’s so much AI generated stuff out there now it’s hard to tell what’s real.
