Super funds cannot and will not do this without their members asking for it. Some already offer investment options for it, but member's have to transfer their funds into it.

Eg ART's Australian Shares Index investment option's objective is "Closely match the returns of the performance benchmark (S&P/ASX 300 Total Return Index) and maintain a lower weighted carbon intensity." They also have a Socially Conscious Balanced fund. Maybe these earn more than other funds, maybe they earn less.

If you don't like whatever a fund is doing, rollover to a fund who does what you want.

This is not financial advice, I don't know shit about fuck. See a financial adviser

idk, I kinda expected a bot to be machine like, regular, predictable and couldn't be stopped and would go on forever.

    You know, like the Terminator.

But sydbot hasn't posted anything for 2 months.

Not sure it matters, but I'd like to know that sydbot is safe and happy.

It's absolutely pissing down here right now, and I noticed this little fella sitting on a ledge outside a window trying to get out of the rain.

I've never seen any bird try and shelter there before, but am doing my best to not disturb him.

Hope the eaves and ledge give him some protection and he can stay safe.

Update: The rain has stopped, and my little friendly shadow has gone. All the birds are going mental! The cockies sound furious!

Victoria is already in a state of disaster, and today looks like being a really bad day for fires in Sydney, so thought I would link a couple of key sites I use:

    Stay safe!

With the ban going into effect, I thought it might be helpful to allow people to share their experiences about the Australian teen social media ban and how it has affected them.

Note: For the Aussie Zone lemmy requirements, see here. Please use that thread for an Aussie Zone specific discussions or questions.

    Good luck, everyone!

"What the public doesn’t know is that the fundamental assumption of radiation safety and regulation simply isn’t true. This is the case against Linear No-Threshold."

I found this video getting more interesting the further it went on. No relationship between cancer and radiation? And cancer rates go down for those with radiation exposure? You may be radiation deficient?

Noticed this as I drove past the other day. A crow getting stuck into a bin, with a cocky standing by watching. Crow hasn't worked out that blue is the paper recycling bin. Yet.

Clearly, the bin chickens have been on a recruitment drive.

Apologies for the potato quality. It's a cap from a dashcam while it was raining in low light.
