Okay, not to be weird, but I looked at your history to see what you find interesting and contribute but...

"Man dies after being shot by Madison Police Department officer"
"Student pilot successfully lands plane after instructor jumps to death mid-flight"

I don't want to talk about your things :(

I'd agree with you to some extent if people weren't so god damn stupid. So many lazy fucks just take the AI's output at face value, believing it to be some all knowledgeable god, rather than a compilation of all human biases expressed on the internet with a bunch of hallucinations thrown in for good measure.

If those ventures fail, they cut their losses and fall back on their cars which are doing wildly well and it's back to business as usual. They have like 1.5 million active FSD users, nearly half of which are paying a monthly $99. They just added 200,000 more this quarter alone.

Don't get me wrong, fuck Tesla, I wish to see Elon destitute and miserable. But it's just not realistic, in my opinion.

People don't even read. They have record sales right now, the issue isn't that people aren't buying their cars.

The reason for the tank is because of how much money Tesla is spending on expansion; robotaxi rollout, data centers, and Optimus are sucking up short term funds in seeking out long term profits. Investors and the stock market hate this, but it's nothing more than a temporary blip.

But what's the angle here though? Attracting investors? What investor wants to throw their money at a company that's evidently lost control of their AI, even if it is "the best"?

I don't disagree with you, it certainly smells like bullshit, but it just seems like shooting yourself in the foot

Hopefully this kind of post isn't too tired, but I figure it's my turn:

Finally decided to, after absolutely refusing to upgrade to 11, make the jump from Win10 to Linux! Been hopping around distros a bit and landed on EndeavourOS last night and I'm really enjoying it so far.

It's definitely tinkery and took me like 2 hours just to get my push to talk working in Discord (mostly due to my own lack of knowledge), but I love the level of control of everything you have (was on Pop!_OS before 🤮, edit: no hate, just wasn't for me!)

There's definitely never been a better time to switch and I'm very excited for when I inevitably brick my shit and come back here for help, so thanks in advance everyone! :)
