If a tree falls in the forest and there's nobody around to hear it, does it make a sound?

Some argue it does not, since sound is. An interpretation of pressure waves in a particular frequency range.

I personally believe it's still sound. Even if it's not heard, it can be recorded and replayed, therefore any time there are pressure waves within specific range they should be considered sound. If you play music on the radio and nobody is listening, it makes a sound, but if you transmit it only using AM/FM it does not make a sound.

Having this definition down, yes, it must have been one Hell of a bang, but so what?

    Because it's faster to speak than type, but reading is more practical than listening, especially if taking information is your main focus.

    It's scannable, easier to read and reread selectively important parts, and listening to code is not useful.

    I remember saying video on youtube, a guy said his Toyota doesn't recognize his face in sunglasses and shows persistent warning message on the screen. I don't remember details, but possible that adaptive cc won't work, or you can't use infotainment due to the persistent message.

    For women, its fairy easy, go to a sperm bank, pick your choice, get the procedure done and you are on your way.

    That's a bit of an over simplification. There's 40 of pregnancy and birth. Also caring for a newborn is very difficult. You may be better off trying to adopt.

    X1 yoga or x280? (programming.dev)
     

    I am looking to get a secondhand ThinkPad as my secondary laptop. Im currently undecided between X1 yoga g3, or x280.

    I want a lightweight laptop to replace my old t440. I like yoga because it's a convertible and this may be useful to watch movies in tent mode or use it as a tablet to browse internet. My main concern is the power button which I hear is easy to break and impossible to fix.

    X280 is more lightweight and compact, but the screen resolution is lower than x1.

    Both have soldered ram, so not upgradeable. I would be getting an 8GB laptop as 16gb is hard to find around here. Does cpu make a big difference? I will be installing Fedora on it.
