Salt does nothing to "break up" starch, it adds flavour to the pasta. Starch is definitely the reason your pasta is sticking but the fix is to cook it in more water. That said, if you want to use some pasta water in your sauce then stirring more frequently and using less water can be beneficial.

Meth isn't helpful but more effort needs to be put into resolving the root causes rather than putting out fires.

The fire fighting is still required, we certainly should be seeking to make it harder for criminals to push their poison on the population and punish them where we can, but ultimately they wouldn't have a market if we correctly identified why users were using and developed more effective ways to help them to not use.

Punishing the users typically only achieves more cost in running prisons and pushes them further into the spiral that keeps them using.

Some pretty salient points from Malcolm Turnbull. Morrisons shit subramine deal is going to haunt us for decades to come.

I'd like to give him the benefit of the doubt that by patriotism he means a focus on serving our country rather than the nationalism it tends be associated with. I'm not a huge fan of Turnbull but he has always been pretty well spoken.

I think his idea that the Liberal party are good economic managers died about 25 years ago with Howard. It could be argued they've always been shit at economics, just noone called them out on it in the old days. I agree that they should be pushing back to the centre of they want to deal with Hanson's racist arsehole party.
