SL - Still Life

Still Lives are the complex's re-creations of living beings, some still lives are more developed than others but they seem to be anatomically completely different than normal living beings. The respiratory and pulmonary tracts are not fully developed for most of them. They seem to be made up of a sponge-like material, even their bones are tiny intervowen bits instead of a single solid bone

LF - Lifeforms

Lifeforms, as classified by Async are theorized to be a modified pseudomonas flourescens or Hay Bascilus (more likely)

Some speculate they have Still-Life like origins aswell

The Prototype is a Target Fuel collider, the little "marble" is presumably the target fuel, made of tellurium (take this with a grain of salt) and other alloys (overflow document as a source)

the Prototype was tested on May 10th, 1982

It was meant to demonstate a "never before seen phenomenon"

This phenomenon is of heavy speculation, but I assume that it is to demonstrate a smaller-scale version of the threshold, compressing a really small amount of plasma compared to the full scale threshold to demonstrate that igniting and compressing plasma would lead to a connection to the Complex, as we can see severe camera interference, like the interference we see in Found Footage 3, when Ravi enters his closet

Ivan Beck is Vice Director of the Async Research Institute

He was born in Karlovy Vary, Czechoslovakia in 1931 to Antonin and Doris Beck.

It is speculated that somewhere in the 1980s, he was hired by Lawrence (Director of the Async Research Institure) when Async was founded after he demonstrated his extraordinary skills and abilities in Prototype^1^ and after the 1972 Solar Flare, his machine (originally intended as a sort of nuclear reactor) overflowed^2^ with energy and let him SEE into the backrooms and become quantumly entangled with it, also giving him post-traumatic amnesia and this left him blind in his left eye

Then, he dedicated his entire life to exploring and charting the backrooms, perfecting^3^ the threshold on October 17th, 1989

This was the same day as a major solar flare and the Loma Prieta earthquake

Via opening this threshold, he essentially connected our reality and the backrooms via null zones, which allow the backrooms to pull information in, to copy stuff from our real world

but the backrooms starts consuming our world, merging with it, this is demonstrated in Found Footage 3^4^, where Ravi, the person recording in Found Footage 3, enters the backrooms through a physical hole within his apartment and before that, he sees a hole in his window, as if something had jumped out

Ivan Beck seems to be obsessed with the backrooms much more than Clark is and is willing to sacrifice our entire reality to explore it

we start with an async expedition (not carrying guidelines)

in the Kelowna Branch of the Complex, which explains the KLWNA on the tapes of Clark and Naren

we also get to know that Async labels the Complex via "Branches"

kane says they found a "less restrictive alternative" and that hes probably gonna make a webseries episode about that as EMG skips past the initial implementation

they then find a bunch of "everything must go" signs, presumably from Captain Clarks Ottoman Empire

and they analyse their positions and speculate that another sign must be somewhere within the wall and somehow they procure authorization to cut a hole into the wall near them

and they find the sign

we get a good look on what the interior of the backrooms walls or atleast the space between them looks like

they find a nude (very funny, kane) version of the Captain Clarks Ottoman Empire mannequin

and then they find a version Captain Clark's Ottoman Empire via the hole in the wall

it is very eerie, dark and unlit unlike the movie's version of it, could the backrooms be in the process of copying it?

and then one of the most interesting moments

Clarks TV! But I assume the Complex copied it wrong, mixing in some parts of a Chinese Television as well? Or even more interested, its getting a signal from somewhere in China

and then we get this eerie image, alongside some eerie music or complete silence, I think

and this is presumably the backrooms or the still lives copying the Found Footages
