I'll have to try Bachelor's beans the next time I see them, as well as Lidl's own when I'm near their store.

Now, what's this thread about? Oh, yeah, pirating beans. That's it. ;)

I find Heinz beans a bit watery. I prefer the supermarket own brands to Heinz... Branston's are much better and tastier, with a thicker sauce. Still, YMMV and all that jazz.

Oh, I forgot an annoying trivial issue: the Heinz cans don't stack up well (lock into place with one can on top of another).

I loved how Alien brought together horror and science fiction. If it didn't do anything for you, as you admit that you're not into horror, then fair enough.

Now, I'll throw in here that I can't abide Aliens. To me, it betrayed the horror elements of Alien, making it more akin to some dumb action movie with some added schmaltz thrown in. Unlike many, I actually consider Alien3 the better film than Aliens (certainly not Alien), in that it does try to bring back the horror elements and darkness in a different way. Still, I can understand why many deride that film. The Assembly Cut does make amends, and is possibly worth watching if you didn't care about the theatrical version.

Just finished watching Joker: Folie à Deux.

Admittedly it was something different, but it didn't really grab me like the first one. Being a musical and a promotion video for Lady Gaga did raise my cynicism level somewhat. Not terrible, had its moments, but a missed opportunity.

I suppose the joke's on me...
