As a teacher, I have a strong opinion as part of my philosophy that I should never expect any child to know anything I didn't teach them myself. Hasn't failed me yet!
I got some silicone rubber bands from Amazon a few years ago and I use them to tie the four corners of sheets and blankets together before washing and drying. Does a great job keeping them from entangling other items in the machine.
The gun lobby and those funded by them? Sounds good.
