This take is, and has always been beyond embarrassing - the leader of our country shouldn't have to deny living in a rat infested shit hole. If our politics have truly devolved to this point, burn it all down and start over.

It's a stepping stone towards more surveillance, just like every other bill that lead us here. Small enough that the populus won't riot, large enough that's it's a tangible blow to privacy and democracy.
