If nobody attended, what would be getting summarised? I get what you’re saying, I’ve definitely been in organisations that had pointless meetings. “This meeting could have been an email” is a meme for a reason. Others though, it’s where different departments come together and share news/status, different executive/managers give run downs and updates about the company (e.g. chief of ops presents figures and areas that could be improved) and employees can ask questions about these or other pertinent topics.

Because this user didn’t attend. Meetings are generally long form and dynamic. Which can’t be done as efficiently in email. 30-60 minutes meetings are fine to attend in person (in terms of parsing information). Consuming that same information via video after the fact is a chore; as is relying on the note taking skills of another employee. I agree with the user you’re replying to. Note taking is one of the few things AI is decent at.

    Onlyfans announced it’d ban sex

Excuse me, what? It’s tumblr all over again. Unless they’re ducking hardcore to woo advertisers or something.

Given it’s illegal, it’s very unlikely. Why go through all the effort of getting a degree (and presumably a job in the relevant field) to risk losing it all and a criminal conviction to snoop on your roommate? If you’re that paranoid put BIOS passwords on your device and get a smart plug that’ll log whenever the device draws power.

Post face pic habibi. Show us your glorious master genetics. Surely someone with such top tier education will want to flex their upbringing? Crank a smile so we can see the state of those surely well-maintained pearly whites. I am 1000% sure it wouldn’t end up on beholdthemasterrace.

Pretty obvious that coward was looking at them before the camera panned over to him. Second reporter intentionally shot by US police today. Gotta wonder many unarmed people have to be murdered or reporters intentionally fired on for something to happen about the police in that place.

Yeah SharePoint links are cooked. I copied a url from SharePoint and it crashed my remote session with someone and pretty sure its BSoD my device more than once. Upping the file path limit locally won’t help.

You can go to a SharePoint folder on the site and hit “sync” which will then add it to your file explorer if you have OneDrivs. Makes for easier navigation and collaboration. Fucked if I know how end users were meant to divine that.

I would consider seeing an audiologist. Generally they deal with people with hearing loss but I’ve seen mention of tinnitus at mine and I think some hearing aids come with tinnitus suppression, so I’d be surprised if it isn’t something they can help with.

The community is only 13 days old. Frequently I see post on all from either the mod or new accounts all ranting about bch or related sites and they’re all super excited to tell you about it. I mean look at the pinned post and replies for goodness sake.

All new accounts. All just loving bch so much and super excited to tell you about it. A lot of the posts have strikingly similar formats too. Like bold sub-title paragraph of text and repeat. Reeks of botting/astroturfing. Just me or nah? Im going to post again regarding lemmy being cool with bots auto posting links to off site frequently, but that’s a rant for another day.

Hey guys. I’ve been considering maybe moving to another OS for my home lab. Do you have have any suggestions? Especially former Unraid users? Mostly just for arrs though I would like to run reverse proxy/file hosting as well. Proxmox seems pretty trendy can I use it for arrs as well as backups?

    Rant/extra info:

Tap for spoilerI’ve been using Unraid for a couple years now, even paid for basic registration. I’ve largely used it to run all my arrs in docker, pihole and had a HASSIO VM running.

I recently tried setting up nextcloud, during the set up (which like nearly everything, I followed a video guide for) I ran into a novel error. So I deleted the nextcloud docker and got it from the official repo instead. Now my nextcloud share is gone and I can’t create new shares??

Stuff like this happened when I set up guac. Weird errors, plenty of which have little documentation or explanation. Plenty of which I need to ssh in or use Linux commands to fix. Which lead me to, “I’m having to learn this stuff anyway, why not spin up a Linux server and learn properly”.

Should I just rebuild/give Unraid a bit more time, it is young OS wise right?
