Gaffney had used his iPhone to snap photos of nude prisoners he had encountered in his job—and he had then shared those photos with “several female civilian employees inside the Sheriff’s Office.”

Gaffney was fired from the Sheriff’s Office last month and was today charged by Bucks County District Attorney Joe Khan with “secretly photographing naked prisoners.” This didn’t result in just one charge, either; Gaffney was hit with a batch of charges, including official oppression, unsworn falsification to authorities, possessing an instrument of crime, and obstructing the administration of law or other government function.

About 2 months ago, a Supreme court judge called the students of India cockroaches, and someone made a website and social media handles named Cockroach Janta Party (CJP), janta meaning public. This started as a joke and they even had a manifesto. Then soon, some people starting blaming the Indian Education Minister, Dharmendra Pradhan, for some exam paper leaks, leading to postponing some exams, major one of them being NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test which is an entrance exam for medical institutes in India). This is a major exam, a lot of parents take huge loans for their kids, and kids remain under extreme pressure throughout the year. And this postponing lead to 20 students committing suicide.

Core members of CJP took this matter in their hands and started protesting online and demanding the resignation of the education minister, when nobody listened, and none of the major news outlets in India covered this, they decided to hold a protest in New Delhi at Jantar Mantar, which is common protest site. They took proper permissions and held the protest. Soon, they were joined by a famous Indian scientist named Sonam Wangchuk. He then decided to go on an indefinite hunger strike until the government takes appropriate actions. He sat there for more than 18 days, hungry. Nobody from the government came to even talk to him, the mainstream media kept calling this protest "anti-national". Around 14th or 15th July, they decided they will march from Jantar Mantar to the Parliament on 20th July (today). On 18th July, police came in civil dress and forcefully took Sonam Wangchuk to a hospital (we haven't seen him yet, although his wife says he is fine). People were even more inspired and thousands of students came to Delhi.

Police blocked off a lot of places, tried to seal the exits of metro stations (underground local train stations). People started marching and they did lathi charge. Mainstream media is showing that more than 50+ policemen are injured and the protest got violent, but people on actual site say that hundreds of students got beaten up, kids got beaten up, people were bleeding, fainting, police were abusing women.

Mobile internet services were stopped in the area.

This guy in the above video is calling them out saying something like, "Hit me, hit me, just kill me."

The police were throwing stones at students, and the mainstream media is showing that students did that.

The forces in the parliament were preparing for this when things got out of hand. Yes, they were willing to shoot the students.

Most of these videos are taken from Reddit and Instagram. I had more but they are more just interviews and mostly in Hindi.

I have uploaded these videos to catbox moe. If anyone has any problem playing these, let me know, I will post mirrors in the comments.

If you want to look up more about this protest, please do not rely on Indian news outlets, they are blatantly lying as they have been bought by the government.

Here are some news sources that you might need to consider reading:

This occurred on Roswell Road, exit 25 of I-285 east, around 9:45 a.m. According to witness. The person who recorded the video says he parked at a U-Haul dealership on Roswell Road, went to the bathroom, and returned. Approximately 7 vehicles surrounded his work van. "They forcibly removed two of my workers who are from Guatemala and took them away." "They didn't arrest me because I am a citizen and I argued with them about that," said the witness, who rebuked the agents. "I tried to prevent them from being taken out, I even locked the driver's door, but they broke one of the windows," he added.

Victoria Lee’s family says she was experiencing a mental health crisis in the early morning hours of July 28, 2024, when police broke down the front door of their apartment and shot Lee as she approached them with a knife in her hand.

...

The Lee family lawsuit accuses Fort Lee police of excessive force, warrantless entry, and civil conspiracy, and alleges Lee’s killing represents a violation of the federal Americans with Disabilities Act and the Rehabilitation Act. It says the borough’s dispatch policy automatically sends multiple armed officers to any call involving an “emotionally disturbed person” with no option to send a mental health expert, while medical calls receive paramedics and no police officers. That policy denied Lee an opportunity to obtain the same result provided to callers without mental health disabilities who seek assistance from 911, the complaint says.

...

Lee’s brother called 911 just after 1 a.m. the day of the shooting and requested an ambulance to take her to a mental health clinic (she was diagnosed with bipolar disorder in 2016), according to the complaint. Lee’s brother said she was having a “mental breakdown,” the complaint says.

The dispatcher told him an ambulance and officer would be sent, the complaint states, but the brother said he believed “police would only make things worse.” When her brother called a second time, he mentioned Lee was holding a knife but not threatening anyone with it, and the dispatcher said the request for authorities could not be canceled.

Officers were called to an apartment complex in the 2600 block of Divot Place just after 6 p.m. on a report of a domestic incident between two parties.

Fuqua said that when officers arrived, there was a dog present at the scene.

At some point during the investigation, Fuqua said the dog had some type of interaction with the officers, causing at least one officer to fire their weapon.

According to Fuqua, the officer was trying to shoot the dog, but accidentally struck both the dog and another officer.

On Wednesday, the Franklin County Dog Shelter and Adoption Center said the dog was taken to an after-hours emergency veterinary hospital for evaluation, but it was humanely euthanized due to the extent of its injuries.
