Counter-Strike 2 will give players a rank for each individual map. Players will also receive a single rank based on the Premiere mode (pick-and-ban maps for each match).

    CS2 is still in the 'Limited Test' phase, but with this update they invited a lot of new players, almost everyone who has Prime and holds a matchmaking rank. I say almost everyone, because I still wasn't invited :(

    Adding to sane@feddit.de, CS2 also isn't yet released on Linux. It works through proton but doesn't support online play as VAC only works native.

    Strikes me as odd VAC doesn't support proton, you'd have thought if anything would it'd be valve's own
