This has literally never happened to me, and I hope it never does.

Sincerely, thank you contributors and creators/curators of sponsorblock!

I've never seen one. Can you link an example? I want to see good ads.

The channel "Internet Historian" always makes a effort to make ads entertaining. Example: https://youtu.be/oSG7HpdQ34w Timestamp: 11:21

I am pretty sure that it's just man in hole. When I watched it I immediately felt that it was different and disliked it. It felt so unlike his usual content so when it turns out that it was plagiarised I instantly felt justified for hating it. I haven't heard anything else about him plagiarising and since he is how in the spotlight I suspect that it really only was that one video.

I will always watch TomSka's ads. He puts just as much effort into those as he does the rest of his stuff and some of the shit he gets away with in them is really great.

I build up a (in)tolerance for ads even from creative YouTubers. I watched Internet historian ads like twice, i watched Some More News ads for a single episode. Even creative ads subtract from the quality of something better.
