This is what a Lovecraft story looks like from the eldritch beings' perspective.

I bet that gave the fish something to ponder.
"Higher being" is true in a strictly topographical sense.
Growing legs and flopping out of the oceans was a mistake.
Depends what you think of as a mistake
Despite the propaganda life isn’t better 🎵 under the sea 🎵
We became apex predators on land and can/are killing every species
Really..? No one has mentioned that he has taken the glasses off himself to put on the fish. That’s some BIG IQ business right there.
This fish just got a fucking GOOlock backstory
Ripped from his home and exposed to the nature of the cosmos in an unprotected manner thet leaves it blinded and desperately confused for the rest of its life
It's wearing glasses
For those of us not playing the home game: "great-old-one warlock." It's not some advanced racial epithet.
Probably. I mean it is D&D. Everybody hates everybody.
No that's 40k
D&D is where everyone attempts to seduce everybody, and fail at it miserably as soon as the DM asks the players to actually state what their best pick up move is
Maybe his own, too. He’s rockin the safety squints.
Wait until all of the fish's friends chained up in a cave hear about this!
You think that's really his fish or does the fish belong to itself?
Probably didn't work. Fish eyes are adapted for seeing through water, not through air. Probably just looked like a fuzzy blob amongst a bunch of other fuzzy blobs.
