I look at your news and it is nothing like the USA. Also I am missing something what outlets or channels do you use to keep track of your countries.

    What answer are you expecting here? Nobody is going to come out and say, "what is happening in the US is good." It's frightening in a way that even the out-right war on our doorstep isn't because unfortunately anything that happens in the US always has some effect on the world. Our right-wingers are taking notes furiously every time the US government does something outrageous and anti-democratic and just gets away with it.

    That said, we don't have to "keep track of our countries", they're rather unlikely to run away and tend to stay where they are (unless Putin gets ideas). What are you asking?

    There has been some weird postings recently, as there are multiple accounts asking this same question in different communities. Then there is the new anti-ai communities and new accounts that post there, and there is now new anti-anti ai communities and new accounts there as well, as if responding to the anti ai stuff. Might be a coordinated effort, as it's easier to see changes and trends on Lemmy than on reddit, because of the size differences.

    To start I am no fan of hug boxes so call me a troll if you must. arghhhhhhh . Don't you find it weird that the western world is supporting the genocide in gaza and now ukraine is attacking iran, israels number one enemy? So wierd huh. Poor ukrainians keeping you all so safe frome evil pootin not like they really had a choice in the matter. When is the next election in ukraine again? anywhoo I just think about 2014 and the boys and gurls in the CIA. Poor germany and its blown up gas line and all the fallout that comes from that.
