"beef empanada" Either use the name of the dish in the original language or in your 💔
post
more like eating a mexican hamburger and a turnover.
this has gotta be a troll though. it's like a weeb saying the same shit but with the punchline being to eat ramen.
I order Mac Donald when I'm at security gate. By the time I reach the boarding gate with the MacDonald, my order is ready. And if I get blocked for whatever reason, well, it was "only" a Mac Donald, compared to being blocked at airport.
I look for the least overpriced meal and I get that meal.
Often it's a sandwich, but sometimes it's a burger. It's still overpriced, but 200% overpriced is better than 500% overpriced and pretending to be bougie.
The airport is a wild place to judge and gatekeep others. Everyone is stuck there waiting, and depending on specifically where, you have limited access to anything brought-in and are at the mercy of massively overpriced options.
It's also pretty poor vs. poor. If you're going to gate keep the airport, where is the flex about some high tier lounge where you had a beer with a B-list celeb and they served whatever ridiculous stuff they claim those lounges have to sell passes? Lobster ravioli made by some Italian chef from Maine or whatever.
Also the comment is right, the Beff Empenada is just some.boring ass basic shit but they gave it a fancy name.
If they called the burger a "Beef Slabion con Quisito" or some shit to make it spunds fancy and foreign, he wouldn't complain.
My go to airport meal is pounding as many beers as I can at the bar so I hopefully pass out after I get on the plane.
Wine
You don't have to pee like if you drink beer
I fly from Australia to the US several times a year and rarely piss on the 15 hour flight, because I stick to wine
Fifteen hours without having to urinate sounds like a medical condition, or an invitation to incontinence later in life.
That's a weird thing to say

30-60 minutes after drinking a glass of water is a normal amont of time to start needing to urinate. Fifteen whole hours of not needing to urinate, while drinking during those hours, is not normal. Like get your kidneys checked, and prostate if you have one. Chronically holding your urine when you need to go can stretch the bladder and lead to incontinence later in life.
I've got a trip to Vegas coming up in September. I'll give it a try next time.
Cheers to my Australian friends!
Oddly enough, I have had both gourmet burgers and pizza. The latter at an airport. And before anyone jumps that it is obscenely expensive, I was travelling on the federal government's dime.
Travel food is often expensive. I don't mind paying 20-30 a plate, but it's gotta be good. I was in LAX a while back and got some tacos for $30 there that were just miserable.
I can't believe you would take missiles out of the innocent government's hands just to create happiness in a human.
The audacity!
Airports aside, I love it when people assume just because you like cheap food, it means you can't stomach or don't love good food, too.
One of Gordon Ramsey's all time favorites in an IN-N-OUT burger.
I had In-N-Out like 3 times and though it was just sub-par.
The next time, I sat there for a few minutes and listened to other people order and herard animal style a few times.
I have no idea why they don't just default their stuff that way. it went from tasteless generic to kick ass.
I consider myself lucky to not have to eat at airports. When I fly, it's usually direct flights, so I only have to wait maybe an hour. Not worth it (for me) paying prices 2-3 times higher than the already ridiculous ones.
I usually have second thoughts about eating food made by someone who knows his customers will be a thousand miles away when the dysentery hits.
