Glad to see more people working on it! I think the Fairphone 6 might actually have the potential to become a "mainstream" linux phone.

I hope maybe fairphone would be interested in selling a variant with pmOS pre installed, like they do with murena?

The issue with mainstream linux is that the average person doesn't know what a bootloader, adb, fastboot etc is. They just use whatever it comes with out of the box.

And that is not bad, I think that eltisim will bring us nowhere. Instead of arguing with people that they should learn the terminal like its scripture we should focus on making the user experience as easy and frictionless as possible, so that a person can just order a phone and that it just fully works. No installation or other stuff required.

I think that is the primary blocker for mainstream adoption.
