These posts are so dumb because you know the people posting them aren't doing shit. Revolutionaries aren't wasting their time with memes.
Just another armchair warrior demanding others risk their lives.

booo, this is crybaby " horseshoe" horseshit.
Persistent incremental efforts directly resulted in wages increasing, expanded civil rights, vacation time increasing, labor laws.
change isn't magic, change takes persistent effort.
theres no such thing as "blue maga", "make America great again" is a delusion that only "reds" are scared and dumb enough to fabricate.
progressives are trying to make America better for everyone, selfish conservatives like you are trying to make it better for yourself.
Then we have the leftists and DSA members who stay home and don't vote, because their ideal candidate lost in the primary and they can't compromise their values; then a republican wins.
The strategy here is to primary and run demsocs in democratic strongholds. Like those California districts that will never turn red. If its a competitive district vote against the republican so at the least youre stalling their project 2025 horse shit. Also dont trust a third party that only shows up for presidential elections.
Also dont trust a third party that only shows up for presidential elections.
Like renowned magician Jill Stein, who magically appears during elections, siphons votes away from non-fascist candidates that can actually win, then magically disappears again after she inevitably loses.
Lot of braindeads fell for that one last time around.
Refreshing to see someone get it, and put it so simply. Agreed, I’m all for incremental change, when it’s the only option. Go for the big wins when there is legitimate opportunity, but it takes work to get them. The biggest piece people miss is those opportunities start locally, and in primaries.
Most these days just want to vote, nothing else, so they check out until it’s time to pull the lever, and then they just bitch and moan about the shit sandwich they have in front of them.
I consider them the same level of gutter scum that I consider conservatives.
So how many times does a republican have to win until you listen to a socialist?
I'd love to listen to more socialists like Mamdani and Janeese Lewis George who understand the value of pragmatism. Unfortunately internet socialists are often just contrarian campists, so I tend to not listen to them.
If you haven't checked it out already, I started a community specifically to discuss pragmatic leftist theory: https://sh.itjust.works/c/PLT
It's not terribly active, especially since PugJesus quit the fediverse, but the whole point is pragmatism
How many times does a Republican have to win before you realize socialism isn't popular enough yet to succeed as a third party?
Bernie would have beaten Donald Trump.
BERNIE LOST THE POPULAR VOTE IN THE PRIMARIES BOTH TIMES.
The popular vote is ACTUAL VOTERS. That means ACTUAL VOTERS didn't like him enough for him to win the primaries.
Christ. It's 2026. Let the Bernie thing go. I liked him too. I still like him. Doesn't mean he's popular with America as a whole.
Now take what I just said and apply it to socialism.
It ain't gonna fly in America yet. Not gonna happen.
BABY STEPS
And? He lost the primary and he didn't run third party. His endorsement of Hillary proves my point.
My point is, look for alternatives instead of voting for something you don't want. That's the idea of democracy.
Non-viable alternatives aren't alternatives.
That's just dumb. Vote against the worst probable outcome. The idea of democracy is consensus. If your alternative doesn't reach consensus, it's just a spoiler against the less bad option. If we had ranked choice voting it would be a different story, but we don't, so it isn't.
How many times does a Republican have to win before you get it? Vote strategically, and find your alternatives outside the election. Protest voting is impotent posturing that risks the worst outcome with literally no material benefit.
I'm just glad I live in a country with multiple voting options.
Yeah that would be nice. Not the present reality for Americans though.
I'd be fine with this, but the US is still not leaving the rest of the world alone.
What else is new? The leftists of the US have no influence on foreign policy. Throwing their vote away on an "alternative" which will, at most, get single percent results doesn't make the US leave the rest of the world alone. In fact, it draws votes away from the slightly less terrible party, which makes it a net loss. If you want the US to leave the rest of the world alone, the last thing you want is for leftists to vote third party.
You want your crappy lesser evil "strategy" to be accepted by sane people? Never.
You've had multiple people now explain to you why your strategy is stupid and counterproductive. If you're still going on about this, you're either trolling or stupid.
In a system where power is granted by votes, why bother listening to the dipshits who don't vote?
What has your vote resulted in other than a right wing hellscape enabled by democrats?
When has your nonvote ever resulted in other than the current right-wing hellscape enabled by you?
You really shouldn't attach your ideology to every goofball comment; you give off the impression all communists are whiney indignant teenagers. Hell, you're even tempting me further away from atheism, like you've shat your pants on the subway XD
Be better. If you can only make your voice heard in internet comments and not voting booths, you frankly don't deserve to be heard.
Stop trying to make fetch blue MAGA a thing. It’s not going to happen.
There is a kind of irony in people that believe these things. Like, the usage of terminology and phrases like Blue MAGA, shitlib, anarkiddie, etc. isn't dissimilar to how MAGA voters act and treat people they deem as their enemy. The point is to create an us vs them mentality, and it is a typical cult tactic.
I would argue that it's less that they're trying to make anything happen, and more to signal membership in their cult. Because it IS a cult. The people they are attacking with this tactic are, and I cannot stress this enough, not the rich oligarchs that would actually be the source of their problems (including this one, if they believe that protests are insufficient, since it would be the rich oligarchs spreading the information that they do, so it's not really the protestors that are the problem, but that's a logical take on an illogical stance.)
The point is that it is sad that they might have more in common with the average MAGA voter than they would care to admit.
It's so obviously right wing agitprop pretending to be left wing, it's almost embarrassing.
It's been a thing since 2016, when it became patently obvious that both parties serve the same ruling class and that party loyalists from either party are fighting for the same future, and neither group understands what future they're fighting for.
It’s been a thing in some small internet circles.
I never hear anyone in the real world say “ugh, Uncle Fred wouldn’t shut up at Thanksgiving. He’s super Blue MAGA now.”
And I arguably live in one of the most liberal cities in the US. Super progressive protests and decorating our windows with woke signs is our idea of recreation.
Well "one of the most liberal cities in the US" would be more likely to be full of Blue MAGA than people opposed to it. There isn't really a way to determine the "most communist cities in the US", but that's where you'll find people who've been using the term for years.
I mean liberal in the sense of liberty, equality, and progressive reform.
But, the city and county have a long history of people electing socialists into public office.
Then idk what to tell you. I've been hearing it IRL and online for more than a decade now used to refer to the "Blue No Matter Who" types that tried to say anyone with concerns about Copmala's record as a crooked prosecutor or her enthusiastic support for a US funded genocide was secretly a Russian bot trying to boost Trump's chances.
IMO, when people say “blue no matter who,” that basically means, “don’t let the MAGAs get 50.1% of the vote in a general election.” That’s how you get jackboot ICE agents rolling around and authoritarians plotting coups.
People try to get really progressive candidates on the ballot as a 3rd party, and unless you have ranked choice, that’s a really bad idea in races where a MAGA candidate could win or lose by a few percent.
The play needs to be what the DSA is doing. Use the democratic primaries to get in. Not the general.
And IMO "Blue No Matter Who" means "please vote for the polite imperialists, because I don't care what happens to anyone I don't know as long as I do have to hear about it on the news."
It's a call to just be ok with US funded genocide, concentration camps on US soil, constant war, no police accountability, and throwing trans rights under the bus because if you don't the other guys will do all that same shit but the media will actually talk about it so you can't pretend it isn't happening.
The play needs to be what Lenin, Castro, and Mao all did, overthrow the disgusting ruling class and establish a government run by workers.
Garbage.
The alternative to incremental change is revolution.
Modern Americans don't have it in them. Not gonna happen.
Revolutions lead to power vacuums that tend to lead to worse situations than what the revolution was intended to fix.
The real, grown up solution is to stop handing power to Republican fascists every other cycle so we can INCREMENTALLY reform the party that has proven to be better for our economy, doesn't infringe upon our rights, and doesn't treat women and people without white skin as subhumans.
Political parties have been reformed numerous times throughout our history. Conservatives/Regressives just did it in the worst way possible to the Republican/Fascist party. But that requires people to not vote like knuckledragging morons or little children who get mad and don't vote or vote for a completely non-viable 3rd party that can't do anything for anyone.
Good one vlad
Marxist theory famously holds that there is no end to history. So incremental change is literally all there is. Sometimes the increments are larger though.
