    Est-ce que la mort avait l'intention de prendre la vie du bébé dans le landau, mais dans la 3ème case j'ai l'impression que le bébé a aimé la descente et veut recommencer. Du coup la mort fait la gueule parce que le bébé n'était pas censé 1) échapper à la mort et 2) trouver ça amusant.

    Well I wouldn't have guessed you weren't a native speaker of French, I'm impressed! You could say bien sûr here if you wanted to be condescending or slightly dismissive, kind of like saying 'yeah right buddy'.

    In truth, I'm just an A2-level learner of French.
    I try to use a combination of what I've learned, plus webtools to help me speak correctly, but there's a load of cultural nuance that's elusive for me.

    So I appreciate your help. ❤️

    I don't usually like being condescending or dismissive, so I will try to be careful of "bien sûr" in future.

    (that doesn't mean of course that I don't mind going "nuclear" / "scorched earth" when the situation calls for it 😅)

    Bien sûr is "of course", for sure would be "tout à fait" or "c'est certain"
