Yeah it felt very odd to cheer for human rights violation king Iran. I'm reminded of a lesson from my youth. Good fights evil. But evil also fights evil. That does not make it good by default.

Thats the only realistic attitude to have about real world politics, and it only gets more true with the size of the government you are talking about. Its very rare for a government to be wholly good, and even the worst governments can have a genuine W from time to time.
