Is it necesary to create another account with a NSFW instance to watch NSFW content? (lemmy.zip)

I was seeking information about how to watch NSFW content on Lemmy,but i was looking who i can not watch NSFW even if i have the NSFW option unlucked. What do i have to do? Is it necesary to have one? What are some NSFW instances in Lemmy?

Fedinsfw.app is the big nsfw server. I don't think .ml is federated with them (off the top of my head, did not double check), so you'd need an account on another server to see any content from there.

Edit: nvm, I'm wrong as per below. Your instance should be federated, so definitely double check that the nsfw filter is off.

    This user is on lemmy.zip, which is federated with fedinsfw.app.

    @Hoverbug_Haskell@lemmy.zip maybe ensure you don't have the NSFW filter on.

    I think that the main NSFW instance have been defederated by a bunch of instances for publishing pedophilic content. So yeah you have to open an account on this instance since it’s alone in the sea

    They mean "that" when they said "this." Grammatically it's correct English, but it's unclear what they meant. I understood it though.

    The other comment replying to the OP gave the name of the NSFW server.

    That's also not the "main NSFW instance that was publishing paedo content." That was another instance and nobody federates with them anymore. I forget what it was called.

    There's a guy now who has been posting cartoon CP, but I don't think they're posting it on the big NSFW instance. I think they're just posting it wherever. They're not tagging it NSFW and they're not posting in communities that tag everything NSFW. It's all badly drawn cartoon toddlers lifting their skirts or bending over and you can see their underwear and the lines their genitals/buttocks make. The user gets banned, and they make a new account somewhere else a couple days later. Not sure what's up with them, but they need help. I mean, it's not real kids so I don't hate them, it's just something I don't wanna see. And I think they know people don't wanna see it. I feel like it's Reddit users trying to disparage this platform by saying we're no different from them. You could block the user, but they're gonna get banned anyway and then they're just gonna use a new account you aren't blocking.
