Imagine the watches you could actually buy for 400 euro.

Reminds me of the plastic toys watches they bought us when we were little. Same as the Omega x Swatch ones.
My first reaction was positive. Vibrant colours, something non standard, but I feel it lacks elegance. The price seems absurd for something with so much plastic
If they actually made this into a wristwatch, I might be interested. But a pocket watch? Why?
Take a look at the photo again. It was definitely fake/AI. The belt hook on the chain clips through the button, (which again, why is it on a button anyway?), and the AP logo/text on the watch face are all sorts of AI garbled. There's also the subtle but obviously fake AI lighting. This terrible looking watch might be real but the previous photo definitely wasn't.
Edit: I didn't even notice right away that the crown and attachment point for the chain are entirely different.
Both I and my neighbor are still quite disgruntled by the Omega Γ Swatch solar mission series. The watches come out okay on photos, but are incredible prone to scratches and the case material chipping away in small bits. Granted, both of us rode them heavy. The movement on mine broke after 13 months, my neighborβs is still going fine, but the crystal is absolutely trashed, at this point itβs an ongoing experiment to see how long the watch will last and what will be the part that irrecoverably breaks first. AP Γ Swatch seems like a good experimental subject for someone who hasnβt seen the Omega Γ Swatch collab in action. Collectible value of those, Iβm pretty sure, is lower than of a generic Tissot within the same price range.
I do like them, but not for that price. Also, I've heard bad things about the Swatch bioceramic, bad meaning "fragile".
