Not a fan of how much the "algorithm" controls deployment instead of the driver. A lot of it is caused by the rules enforcing certain deployment out of corners etc.

Overtakes shouldn't happen accidentally
This energy harvesting and deployment is just the new โporpoisingโ. The new regs have given the teams something they have no experience with.
The teams will figure it out. Some will be better at adapting and development than others (see Ferrariโs starts and how quickly Maclaren reached start parity). Thatโs what makes F1 interesting and great compared to spec series like Indycar.
I think the development battle is more interesting than the driver battle so Iโm 100% here for it.
Give it a few years and there'll be Mario Kart boost pads on the track.
