When I visited a few years ago, it was already way over developed. There are constant bus loads of tourists, the walkways were drowning in selfie sticks. I would not pay for that "experience".
It's just not worth going to see it, better to go to any other spots along the coast.
This entire place is massively overrated. Crowded. Difficult to get to. One of the least interesting or awe-inspiring things I've seen in Australia, let alone the world.
When I first came to Aus on a working holiday visa in 1988 you could drive onto one of them and park up. I still have some nice photos from back then. And don't blame me for any erosion. My HQ did nothing wrong.
