(Seriously tho, I already sus 50% of Lemmy users too, a lot of front page posts have the weird "mainstream social media uncanny feel" to it, at this point I treat the social-media/forums as entertainment, I don't really take it too seriously. If I didn't witness it myself, it can be potentially fake. That's how I operate in this world)

The platform sucks anyways and it's only a matter of time before it self-destructs, looking forward to it and they'll blame lemmy or someone else of sabotage, pricks.

The only real way to escape corporate enshittification and bots is to just pick up and move whenever marketing ghouls start to show up. Im quite happy with lemmy and the fediverse right now, but Im under no illusion this place will last more than like 3 years tops before its time to move on to the next platform with a user base small enough that its not worth astroturfing with ads and corpo propaganda

Nah Lemmy has got bots too. I'm sure there's instances without. But any general instance with any communities around news or politics will have bots.

There are bots on Lemmy already but they don't argue and they only post article links to some community.
