Kathleen Kennedy does two things well destroy franchises and flee the country after she's helped to kill two children during a movie filming.

She's still president of Lucasfilm, what exactly is she supposed to have been fired from?

There is a reason why we see no new material happen after/during the ladt trilogy.

How can you make anything after/during something that never existed?

This is something I remember chatting about when the sequelas hit (fun fact: in portuguese, sequela means "bad side effect", usually as result from an injury) - there was just nothing besides the movies. Shortly after Episode 1, we got Jedi Power Battles and Star Wars Racer, among other games situated in the prequels. With Ep2, we got Republic Commando and Battlefront 1. After Episode 3, we got Battlefront 2 (also the Episode 3 game for the consoles of the era, something I have to play sometime)

Man, I miss LucasArts. Fuck EA

Ahah yeah "sequel" has the same meaning in French ;)

Love the double sense here, I'll re-use it thanks!

Yeah EA is clearly to blame but in the end the fault also lies on Disney. They are the one managing the license. After butchering the license, at least they had the common sense to realise what they did and not insist too much on it...

The still backed themselves in a corner though. Or rather, "capped" the star wars timeline unless they retcon the movies.
