OK, going with the flawed analogy...

It's not just Canada, most "Western" countries have been doing this, hell, even the USA somewhat. And most of them are now at least toying with the thought that therapy was a waste, booze is much better anyhow, and having money in your pocket is more important than saving the planet.

And the meth is called far-right fear- and hatemongering populism.

Canada's meth habit is simmering below the surface, and our friend keeps inviting us out to smoke with our ex. :(

(Yet it feels like most western countries just arent resolving their/our core issues - it's just that the USA isn't resolving their issued and doing a backflip which they can only execute to about mid-point.)
