One argument I like to make with conservative voters is that with proportional representation the governments get to completely avoid the 100s of millions wasted on policy lurch every time the party in charge changes.

    56% over voters in the 2024 election voted Tory or Reform.

    I'd argue that PR actually favours the right in the UK.
