    Apes and monkeys can be really smart. Case in point, there's an orange utan in the White House.

    Well, he was smart enough to convince a critical majority of Americans to elect him POTUS. I know it's not a high bar these days, but it's still more smarts than the average member of the animal kingdom.

    Also, note that I'm talking about smart, not intelligent. There's a difference.
