I use osmand, however is there a plugin or separate app that uses traffic data or weather data (road closure/accidents).

MagicEarth has a traffic jam bypass and displays weather data.
Available in the PlayStore

    Look at the "Real-time traffic" row on the table on this page https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Routing/online_routers
    Looks like Valhalla would be the only viable option

    Oh nice these are routing services, how do I use them in apps like osmand (if there is way).

    @rando @lewdian69 In OsmAnd, you can change the routing engine for each routing profile (car, foot, bike, ...) in the profile settings, then routing settings, then switch from offline to online and add Valhalla as a service.

    I'm sorry would u mind elaborating on this bit more. I've been trying to look for option to change routing engine and I don't seem to find it under settings

    Didn't notice online tab at all while trying to look through settings so many times.

    Looking for routing change info would take me to documentation which explains things about changing XML.

    Thank you so much for pointing out that exact webpage.
