Yeah sorry, money is just so tight right now, we can't find it in the budget...

By the way, this is Todd, your 3rd project manager. Should really help with increasing productivity and aligning with our new buisness strategy.

Oh, and your coworker Amy just put in her two weeks, so we will have to backfill that position sometime when the budget clears up. You can take on her responsibilities temporarily though.

Oh, and I'll be in Ibiza for the next 3 weeks, talking to key internal stakeholders and top execs of our customers.

    Haha. That's basically my current role. I was asked to help in an area while they find someone to fill the role. It has been ages, like months. And no fill. Just found out at a minimum, it'll be next year. So.. yeah. Even working really slow hasn't triggered them to find someone. Fuckers.

    Which isn't inherently wrong if they have donated themselves. They have a massive audience they can reach out to. I think people just like shitting on rich people. Which is fine they can take it.

    The full story, which has been thoroughly litigated elsewhere, suggests that they haven't actually been as generous as they want credit for being.
