Pre-transition me went out with another crossdressing guy I met on an app (which wasn't exclusively a gay app) because we had similar experience in free software stuff, so it seemed like there was a lot in common. We walked around and talked for a couple hours, and he told me that he thought he might be interested in guys, but after seeing me he wasn't. I'm not bad-looking either, but at the time it was low-key devastating.
