Edit: so it turns out that every hobby can be expensive if you do it long enough.

Also I love how you talk about your hobby as some addicts.

Maybe it's midlife crisis, but I've decided to get a motorcycle now that I'm pushing 50. Turns out, I can easily spend 3500€ for my gear and classes before even getting a bike!
