I don't have a twitch account, but try NoScript. The site works when only allowing twitch.tv and twitchcdn.net to load (as in I can navigate and join streams) but this might disable account features. I think the ads you're referring to are coming from amazon-adsystem.com but ads directly from streamers can't be disabled afaik.
