[–] RiQuY@lemm.ee 46 points 2 years ago (3 children) Now I need to consider Gitea and Codeberg. Thanks for the reminder GitLab. permalink fedilink source hideshow 6 child comments replies: [–] rho50@lemmy.nz 78 points 2 years ago (4 children) Don't use Gitea, use Forgejo - it's a hard fork of Gitea after Gitea became a for-profit venture (and started gating their features behind a paywall). Codeberg has switched to Forgejo as well. Also, there's some promising progress being made towards ActivityPub federation in Forgejo! Imagine a world where you can comment on issues and send/receive pull requests on other people's projects, all from the comfort of a small homeserver. permalink fedilink source parent hideshow 8 child comments replies: [–] RiQuY@lemm.ee 23 points 2 years ago ActivityPub integration on git remote repos sounds very interesting. To be clear Forego is what I was stating didn't have pay walled features. I know Enterprise auth works, but I haven't used the others yet. permalink fedilink source parent hideshow 2 child comments replies: [–] rho50@lemmy.nz 3 points 2 years ago Ohh, my bad!
