How can I prevent the home feed from being flooded by them? I block one, and 5 more show up.

Meme was literally coined as the equivalent of a gene, but for an idea. That's exactly what current joke memes are. They fit extremely well into Richard Dawkins' original definition. So does you trying to get whatever your invention is into the public mind.
