Konfiguriert doch einfach eure Tastatur richtig.

Oh wenn du ein Tutorial kennst wie man es hinbekommen kann dann immer her damit!

    Ich kann EurKEY wärmstens empfehlen, ein Tastatur-Layout das quasi der US-Tastatur entspricht aber zusätzlich Umlaute und ß (+ jede Menge weiterer Sonderzeichen) enthält. Beispiele: A + AltGr = Ä, s + AltGr = ß

    Gibt es für Windows, Mac und Linux.

    Ja, die vielen verschiedenen Optionen sind leider oft nicht schön in den GUI Tools abgebildet. Ich fand es am einfachsten das ganze mit localectl zu ändern. https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Xorg/Keyboard_configuration#Using_localectl

    localectl list-x11-keymap-variants us zeigt dir alle us layouts an, worunter mehrere Dvorak layouts (unter anderem Dvorak-alt-intl) sind. möglichkeiten für compose keys findet man mit localectl list-x11-keymap-options

    localectl set-x11-keymap us pc105 dvorak-alt-intl compose:rctrl würde dir zum beispiel Dvorak-alt-intl mit der rechten strg taste als compose key festlegen
