I'm going to hit you with a full playlist that I put together (as a CD) several years back. Can't remember the proper placement for Death Valley Blues offhand, but it works where I have it now.

It was all road-centric songs. But one of my favorite highway driving songs is F.N.T. by Semisonic. That guitar riff sounds like speeding.
