Title says it all. I'll go first:

I don't really have any on my computer (all I use that for is Vim, Firefox, and Git), but on my phone: Orbot (basically Tor as a VPN on your phone).

Veracrypt has been stale but at least they released a new beta last month

I still find it invaluable, for easy encryption of whole thumbdrives.
