Everything they released up to Watershed is incredible. Everything after is still great, just... a different band, really.

    Absolutely agreed. Sounds like a totally different band. I simply love Mikael's voice before he started adding a lot of flair(?) to his clean vocals, and before he stopped growling entirely

    It's sad because I don't know an Opeth fan who doesn't feel exactly this way. Sorceress was good and all but still...

    Any bands you'd recommend that help scratch that earlier Opeth itch? Ne Obliviscaris is one for me
