It was a Dreamcast flagship game but resurrecting it still isn't up to Sega. permalink fedilink source parent [–] nantsuu@kbin.social 2 points 2 years ago Isn't that a Capcom IP? permalink fedilink source parent [–] nanoUFO@sh.itjust.works [S] 2 points 2 years ago (3 children) I've seen the anime as a kid but I keep hearing about the game. Is it a classic that I should be playing? permalink fedilink source parent hideshow 6 child comments replies: [–] Pxtl@lemmy.ca 4 points 2 years ago* Powerstone 2 was basically a Super Smash Bros-style 4-player fighting party-game but with the 3D-platformer gameplay of a Wrestlemania game. Instead of Smash Balls, there were a set of "Stones" where you'd get an ultimate if you got 3 of them. Very fun party/fighting game, much like Smash. permalink fedilink source parent [–] M500@lemmy.ml 2 points 2 years ago (1 child) I remember loving power stone play sessions as a kid, but I hardly remember the game. Just remember loving it. I tried to play it recently and I did not have much fun. Maybe it’s because it’s single play? Maybe it’s because it didn’t age well. permalink fedilink source parent hideshow 2 child comments replies: [–] cestvrai@lemm.ee 1 point 2 years ago I can imagine it didn’t age well. The destructive/interactive environments were very cool for the time. Also loved the art style. permalink fedilink source parent [–] AnonTwo@kbin.social 1 point 2 years ago It's a classic yes. It's been re-released very sparsely though. It's kindof like a smash-bros like game with a simplified combat style and weapons, especially the second game where they added 4-player gameplay permalink fedilink source parent
