It's insane to the point that finding an ad-free version for my NVIDIA Shield is a top priority this week. permalink fedilink source parent hideshow 4 child comments replies: [+] helenslunch@feddit.nl 3 points 2 years ago* (last edited 2 years ago) [deleted] permalink fedilink source parent [–] tygerprints@kbin.social 2 points 2 years ago (1 child) It drives me nuts how often Youtube videos are interrupted by ads - for things I couldn't care less about. And I finally gave in and upped my subscription to Netflix to the ad-free version even though it's more expensive - not being bombarded by ads is SO worth it - so I say, go for it with the NVIDIA Shield ad-free version - we all have a duty to "shield" ourselves from this nonstop barrage of advertising! permalink fedilink source parent hideshow 2 child comments replies: [–] ivanafterall@kbin.social 2 points 2 years ago (1 child) I use Stremio + Torrentio + Real Debrid for all of my streaming needs, no need for any of the subscriptions. For YouTube, I'll use whatever the current cracked version is--I believe there are/were several, but I'm not up-to-date on what's out right now. permalink fedilink source parent hideshow 2 child comments replies: [–] tygerprints@kbin.social 1 point 2 years ago I have to use the version saddled with my android TV - I don't watch Youtube on my computer, so I'm not sure I have any option but to use the ad-riddled version. Heavy sigh! permalink fedilink source parent
