So it is possible the bloat is taking a lot of the ram. My device has 8gb of ram, and 5 gb is in use, I don't use my phone too much. permalink fedilink source parent hideshow 2 child comments replies: [+] Boeddabart@lemmy.world 5 points 2 years ago (1 child) [deleted] permalink fedilink source parent hideshow 2 child comments replies: [–] JackGreenEarth@lemm.ee 4 points 2 years ago (1 child) I'm getting a Samsung for dev work because it's cheap, but I wouldn't have gotten it if I wasn't sure I could root it to remove the bloat. permalink fedilink source parent hideshow 2 child comments replies: [+] Boeddabart@lemmy.world 4 points 2 years ago (1 child) [deleted] permalink fedilink source parent hideshow 2 child comments replies: [–] JackGreenEarth@lemm.ee 3 points 2 years ago (1 child) Just put of interest, what OS are you running on your main Fairphone? permalink fedilink source parent hideshow 2 child comments replies: [+] Boeddabart@lemmy.world 4 points 2 years ago [deleted] permalink fedilink source parent [–] applejacks@lemmy.world 3 points 2 years ago LCD display, not OLED for some insane reason. permalink fedilink source parent [–] alphacyberranger@lemmy.world 14 points 2 years ago TIL such a phone existed. permalink fedilink source parent [–] tux7350@lemmy.world 8 points 2 years ago This is my current work phone.
