The opinions are "articles should be backed up to prevent information manipulation, a threat to democracy" and "they should be able to hide their mistakes so they don't get made fun of" You reconcile them by not letting them stealth edit, and you stand up for them when they made an honest mistake and are being blasted for it permalink fedilink source parent
