You don't get to pick the circumstances of your birth, but you can decide if you want to make the choices to overcome them.

It doesn't guarantee you will, but if you systematically never attempt it, you definitely won't. And the issue with so many folks is they totally refuse to try. especially middle class white people.

Go talk to some fresh off the boat immigrant and ask them if they feel like life in american is pointless and hopeless and they will never improve their lot in life... oh right, you won't because they came here precisely to do that and a large chunk of them see huge improvements in their quality of life and often change children that are very successful because those children inherent their attitude and work ethic.

It has nothing to do with the existence of elon musk or climate change. Those are just excuses you use to justify your lack of drive. Which is fine, but you're making your own bed. Being angry that Musk was born with millions and turned them into billions isn't every going to do anything positive in your own life.

The solution is to get off your ass, improve your life, and get involved politically to push forward your political goals. But people dont' want to do that, especially on here. They want to sit around and complain about how everything is hopeless and awful and there is no point in ever trying because they have tried so hard and they aren't rich and it's not fair :(
